“During this episode we have the pleasure and privilege to discuss with Gordon Dupont about the Dirty Dozen and Human Factors. The Dirty Dozen is a concept developed by Gordon in 1993 and refers to the 12 main factors that may affect an individual’s performance, leading to errors, which in turn may lead to incidents or accidents. Through our discussion we present how the Dirty Dozen were conceived and how they may practically be used to proactively apply safety nets to prevent errors. We explore the benefits of providing training on Human Factors, not only in aviation but also in any other industry and business type.”
